It is not legal for US citizens to gamble on line. Secondlife.com appears to be a US site, so it would not be legal to use it for gambling. If the site allowed gambling, it would be shut down. Gambling sites used by US citizens are all housed in foreign countries where they can operate legally.

yes it has been banned

There are some things in the game that are based on skill
but no random prizes anymore

I made about 7000 lindens in my newb days playing slot machines
and miss them alot

It was so fun

Now I don't know what to spend my money on

All the games that remain are stupid or expensive
there used to be mega casinos
but some were pulling in excess of one million lindens PER DAY
so the US passed some law on gambling online
which in turn left second life to ban it completely

you will still find sploders and some games but the games are stupid skill games which are not fit for a user in a lag environment some rely on timers and if you freeze for 20 seconds you lose all chances at winning

even on the larger jackpots of slots you really only walked away with like 20 real life dollars

so I don't understand the whole concept of banning gambling completely and who knows it may evolve with time and maybe it is too soon to say that it won't come back

:)))
keep your money
be glad that u won't waste it all in a casino
be creative with your money
buy things that may give you a considerable return on your investment.,

peace out coolcat
