- we bought a hoodie today for 29.99 (original price is 49.99).. and the thing is its buy one get one 50% off..
so we bought another one (the same one) for $20 ( its only 20 dollars coz it has a damage, so we bought it for a discount..)..
so we ask them, why is the price still $20? (the price should be around 15 dollars..) $15 dollars because half of $29.99 is around 15, and subtract our "damage" discount from $15....then they told us that, " the 50% off will be deducted from the "original price"..

yea, i know that, but in the advertisement in front of their store, it says, "buy one get one 50% off, discount will be deducted at the store"..
-it doesnt say "buy one get one 50% off of the original price".
the thing is, false advertisement maybe?
and plus, we cant return them becuase in their policy, it says no refund..

anothing thing is that,
if one hoodie is 29.99, and if you buy another one, its ""49.99"" subtract the 50% off..
i guess the store can't do that..
because, overall, they're saying that one hoodie is 29.99 and the other price of the SAME hoodie is 49.99 !!

i think that it should be:: one hoodie = 29.99 and if you buy another one, its the 50% off of the price of the same previous hoodie ( which is 29.99)...
if their pricing is wrong, can we get our money back?

You have no case. When I took business law they said retail stores were getting you to make an offer to buy not making a offer to sell.
When you saw the price you could have refused to purchase so you suffered no damages.

The way it works is you pay full price fopr the higher priced item. the lower priced item is 50% off of the original price. Once it has been discounted due to damage it is no longer the original price and 50% off sales cannot combine other discounts with it. You can either get the lower price one for half price or take the damage discount.
That is not false advertising. Clothing stores are sneaky in the way they advertise sales and there is always a catch to it.
Besides, do you really want to spend thousands of dollars for a lawsuit to get back $10, chances are you will loose.

No you can't get your money back. You are reading something completely different to the item as advertised. A law suit? Sure you can file a lawsuit. Groundless suits are filed all the time. Most likely it will be thrown out. Cheapest way to file a suit will be Small Claims. Filing should be about $35 and serving the papers $8. Say goodbye to that. You won;t be getting it back. Some people do win frivolous suits though.

If the item you bought is damaged (and they told you it was) then it's all yours... No money back!
The sale is under the stores condition not yours.
and if you want your money back that is money back not a law suit. if you want a law suit you must prove negligence under the owners part. and I do not see that.

ask yourself, this question. how much is your time worth to pursue this? your damages are basically are few bucks. you go to court and pay court fees. you end up paying more than what the lawsuit is worth.

the best revenge is not to shop there anymore.
