Is this just a course you want to take for fun, or is it a requirement for your major?
If it is a requirement, you'll have to just suck it up and do it! If it were that easy, everyone would be a university graduate.
Remember, the rewards for persevering far outweigh the pain it took to get there.
Good luck!

We all have to do that. Even the best jobs have parts we don't like, but we have to do them anyway. And even the best parents don't enjoy changing dirty diapers and cleaning up their kids' vomit. That is probably true of all university courses as well, and it is a part of being an adult. If you avoid the things you hate, you will never get to enjoy the benefits of life.

usually they make you take prereq courses like science because the class you want to take incorporates a lot of what you learn in the science class. If anythign I suggest taking the science course at another school if possible if you think it'll be hard or talk to the professor so that he/she can go slower.

If it is a prerequisite then you should have that knowledge as it's just a minimum, think of it as a quick understanding. It's just a turn around the corner to what you know you want to learn more of. So just stretch your mind, no matter how much it hurts and learn it. Think of the things in grade school you did not like to do but did do, and did well cuz you can do it.
