I think about great actors, writers and directors betrayed by public-media tsars who lack definitions, value standards and honesty--and keep given roles to and making films and plays about categorically-flawed mediocrities instead of great men. Think what we've all lost in this country over the last 40 years--all the great movies, TV shows, performances, scripts and experiences we haven't had--that we could have had.

I think about several people a lot. Mostly my niece and my friends who I don't get to see too often, some of which I got to see this weekend. It was a great birthday present and no one even knew/realized it was my birthday. I'm not complaining about that either.
