I have Javelina that come at night, rabbits, quail, roadrunners in the daytime. Last week I saw a peregrine falcon take a turtle dove from our yard.

I live in the suburbs of Tokyo.

We get Foxes, Badgers, Crows, and in the summer months, Japanese Macaques.

I can't stand the Macaques because they're loud and obnoxious, and sneak into people's yards and snatch stuff.

I live in a medium-size city, but we have woods and fields not far away, so we end up with an assortment: kestrels aka sparrowhawks, rabbits, squirrels, opossums aka possums that come up on the porch in the front and back of the house, raccoons in the back lawn, and voles that wander over from the fields. We have the usual mass of birds: wrens, robins, sparrows, chickadees, starlings, crows, bluebirds, bluejays, redwing blackbirds, mourning doves, and more. We sometimes have quail, too, only they're called bobwhites or bobolinks in this neck of the woods. Oh! A neighbor bought a pair of guinea fowl that now have a family that wanders everywhere. A few chicks occasionally visit us.

One night, only a few blocks away, I watched a very large red fox cross the road and climb to the top of a small rise near a gas station. I pulled onto the lot and got out of the car, keeping the vehicle between me and the fox. He simply stood there, apparently watching me watching him, then turned and trotted down the other side. He was gorgeous!

Near our hospital, which is only a few miles away and well within the city limits, people have been reporting sightings of coyotes!

My sister, who lives only a mile or so away battles with chipmunks wanting to get into the garden and even potted plants. So far, we haven't seen chipmunks, but my mom said that it wouldn't be surprising if they're around.

Squirrels, raccoons, bats, falcons, eagles, hummingbirds, doves, and tons of little birds, deer and elk. Neighbor had a bear in his backyard this last summer - scared him hell out of him. Had to call the forest rangers and have the bear put back out deeper into the woods. I live in Washington state.
