Thumbs up or down?

Do you think people give all the answers a thumbs down just to be cruel?

I don't do it. I give both thumbs up and down.

I hate when people give thumbs down to be mean. C'mon if you have to feel power by going on a website and knocking people's points down then you are pathetic.

I give thumbs up or down based on my opinion of the answer and unless you are rude I give a thumbs up for all my answerers.

I only give thumbs down for rude answers or ones that are bad in other ways, like very inaccurate information. Also, I give thumbs downs to spammers. I generously give thumbs up to people who have a good point or make me laugh.

I rate accordingly, but the other day I accidently gave a thumbs down to someone that I wanted to give a thumbs up to, but I contacted her and told her so. I bet I get a thumbs down from someone out there!

Maybe they just give them a thumbs down because they don't agree with their answer, which was the original purpose of the thumbs down option.

Who knows. Seems like someone spends a lot of energy just to thumbs down every answer sometimes. As if everyone is going to get all sad or something.

I give whichever I think is appropriate, but sometimes I think a lot of good answers get thumbs down from rude people.

I think so........I like to give thumbs up when I don't like a question I just ignore it unless its like a really uncalled answer then I give it a thumbs down!

Yeah, I only give thumbs down if i really don't agree, which is usually in the religion section, but not really over here

i only give thumbs downs for people that are rude and ignorant and cruel. i try to be as nice as possible
