I have that in English. Is it a good grade?

It's a failing grade.
100-90 = A+ - A-
89-80 = B+ - B-
79-70 = C+ - C-
69-60 = D+ - D-
59-50 and below = F

Its failing:
90-100% is an A
80-89% is a B
70-79% is a C
60-69% is a D
Anything under 60% is an F
My school doesn't count Ds however,but I've never gotten under a B.
Hope you get better :)
And btw,that might be the average grade in the U.S. if the current education system stays.

Sorry, but that's not a good grade at all. That's like a D or even an E. It's a Fail.
And in English? That's one of the subjects that matters, depending on where you are. Study harder.

43% is not a good grade . u scored that in english so it is fail . in language papers we need 50% to get pass.
but if u worked hard and you get this percentage means it is a good grade only.becoz we can only work hard and the rest of the things is in the hand of god. if u didnt worked hard and so u get this percentage means it is not a good grade.

No 43% is below 50% meaning it's a fail.

No not for me, and looking at your questions, you seem like you have alot of potential. You said something about your english teacher failing you because you have communist beliefs? thats just stupid. Well, i think we both know its not a good grade and you have more potential than that, just try and do your best, and maybe not push your opinions when unnecessary in class. Best of luck.

Good or bad is a relative term,and it really depends on the situation.
