There are a very few people who are content with what they have. However, having things never satisfies the craving for having more things, just as there is no such thing as enough money.

No I really don't think that it is possible. I think that human beings are naturally and instinctively always changing and so are our needs and wants. So even if we somehow manage to get everything we want today by the time we get it there will be something else that we then want.

Also in today's world that contains SO many things that we want (from cars to houses to clothes to amusements and on and on) there is always something new around for us to crave.

I think we just have to appreciate what we do have and work with in our budgets and lifestyles to try to have the best of what we can whilst still living lives that are guided by some sort of morals - religious or otherwise.
