I went to Haiti, and before going had to take medicine to prevent malaria. One of the side effects was hypersensitivity to sunlight. It affected no one else but me, and the first day I got burned pretty bad, even with sunscreen. I spent the next week wearing long sleeve tee and pants, it sucked! But the burn, sheesh! It hurt so bad because of the meds, that even just being in the heat hurt it. It was a constant day of burning with no relief.

Emotional: A young girl who lived in my community was killed in Iraq. They had a funeral procession to the cemetery. people lined the streets to pay respect. the limo that had her family inside passed me by and i saw her mother. what i saw on her face, the utter grief, tore me apart. Physical is when i broke my elbow.
