Didn't you have sex with you ex husband? Now that you have been sexually active and you are 45 years old, there should be no reason why you should be trying to save yourself. Get out there and have fun and live life.

Since you were with an abusive husband you may need to raise your self esteem a bit - I will give you a site for that - but you may have to look in the right places for men who do not want sex until there is a commitment. Perhaps you can find or renew faith and find someone in a church, join a bowling league, go back to college in a community college and take a course of something you might enjoy, but as your self esteem is raised you may feel more confident in talking to more people and meet the right person that way. You can even learn the basics of handwriting analysis and use that to weed out the users from the ones really interested in you.
Good Luck to you and I hope you find the right person.

Then don't let your standards down. And don;t listen to sterotypes. At that age most men's sex drive is a good bit slower- they still want sex, just not as much as they used to. (mine finally is at 33). Try everywhere EXCPET singles bars. Church, community service groups, intrest groups, places like that are where some really good men hang out.

Be who you are is important. Life is too short to waste on the stuff we don't want to do. I believe there are some decent men there. When you ready you will see them. Also you must ask!!
Good luck

Keep looking. Perhaps look in Churches. I am sure there are men who will respect you for wanting to wait. Even at 45.

dont be fooled into thinking all men are the same it simply isnt true, and no doubt you have been told that out there is a perfect man for you,and its true but its trial and error im afraid but if you find and think a man wants you for sex only, then dump him and move on.

People treat you how you allow them to treat you. If you stand firm in your beliefs, you will find someone who will respect you and your beliefs.

If you lift your skirt for people because you think that is what you have to do, it will be what you have to do. It is all about what type of woman you choose to be.

Standing firm on the no sex rule will weed out the losers anyway. You don't want to waste time on them, do you?

There are decent men who will respect your sexual choice.

Most of the time, when you are hunting & looking for this decent guy ,, he is hard to find. You have to give it time.

Decent guys are out there. You just have to wait for him to come along .. and cull all of the ones who you think are not decent.

Try to find a church or group that shares your same values....Stay away from the bars, nightclubs or pretty much any restaurant to meet any guys....
