Most people today believe/accept that homosexuality is not a choice...but rather the way a person is born to be.

What about bisexuality? Is a person born to be sexually attracted to both men and women? Or is this a lifestyle that a person chooses?

What do you think?

Some may not agree with me, but I believe that everyone actually had a nature of bisexuality in them, but as they grew older, it's up to them whether they wanted to be straight, homosexual or bisexual...

So I can say that it's actually a choice, but with some experimentation's first... As someone above had mentioned, it depends on the society and people they have been with too... Have you noticed that a society with more homosexuals tend to have more youths to choose to be homosexuals too? ^_^

Good question. When you are born, I believe that you don't know either way. You are not attracted to men nor women, and that is something that develops over time. I don't believe being gay is a choice, nor is it a wrong way to live. There is no way to force yourself to be attracted to something you're not in the first place. You do not wake up one morning and think "I'm going to go out and have sex with a guy today, just cause". Unless your a very generous woman ;D Ahem.. but, my point being, Yes, it is something you are born with more or less. Whether it's natural.. or a chemical imbalance of some kind.. who's to say. Bisexuality in my opinion is someone who is in fact gay, but they choose to go with those of their same sex at times because that is what society See's as normal. So it feels less.. awkward? I really couldn't say. Again, good question.

I think it's a mixture of both. There are bisexuals who just are that way naturally, and then there are those who claim to be bisexual because it gives them a certain "cool" image. I've noticed this a lot with teenage girls who have never been near another female in that way, and who have absolutely no intention of ever being with one - but they claim to be bi because they've noticed it fuels some men's fantasy of being with two women at the same time - and so it gets them more attention.

I don't think bisexuality should ever be used as an excuse to cheat on your partner though. I heard about one woman who was married but who kept a female partner on the side, and that understandably upset her husband a lot. But she said it was something she needed to do and she refused to see that she was doing anything wrong. That's probably the only time when things can get awkward. :-/

There is a theory that all people are bisexual to a degree, and you get homophobes/ GL(B)T when the line is on a polar end. Homosexuality and Bisexuality is something that you are born with, or for some people it may be a choice. Who knows?

I'm a bisexual. I have many friends who are homosexual and heterosexual. It is not a choice that we choose. It is just a part of who we are and I believe that we all should be accepted by society the way we are.
This country accepts all kind of illegal immigrants, but the second they hear the word "gay", suddenly they clam up and friek out. Like we're contagious or something.
Sorry. I didn't mean to rant or anything, you just asked for opinions.

Although some people like to experiment with the same sex as a fad or out of curiosity, true bisexuals don't choose to be attracted to both.

And most bisexuals are not equally attracted to men and women either.

OK, I'm 'bisexual'... when I was a little girl I had crushes on both girls and boys.

I had my first sexual experience with a girl, my first kiss too....

I know I was born this way, and that's never been a question for me. It just is.

Neither are choices. It's all a scale however, Google the "Kinsey Scale".

Kinsey scale. Look it up on Google, it will clear things out for you about human sexuality. :)

I'm Bi-curious

I'm attracted to both genders. But I also think it's because of my age and my surroundings.
