Intel core 2 duo upgrade?

Right now i have a dell vostro 200 with a pentium dual-core E2160 1.8ghz. Can i upgrade it to a intel core 2 duo E6750 processor and is it worth it in terms of gaming. Right now i have an 8600gt.

nope. chipsets are different.

Don't know your mobo so to be safe is another pentium dual core
