depends on the job I guess but I know that many a manager would. It's just wrong to sleep on company time. If you sleep in your car during your lunch break they can't fire you for that.

What would I do? Go take a break. Walk around the building twice at a brisk pace. Take a folder full of papers with you if you don't have a break and just pretend you are on a mission. It's better than drooling on your keyboard.

Warning...then fire. The maintenance guy does it all the time...and then, says we are in the special ed dept? Hmmm? Really classy place.

You better have a one-time good excuse.....

No, I wouldn't fire you. I would be concerned about you and probably call you into my office and talk about it. Perhaps a different work shift would be better for you or maybe you're getting the flu and need to go home sick.

If you really are the preacher's wife, I think I would fire you only because the church folk will be talkin smack! But in any other job, I would give you a pillow!

No, I'd probably wake you up; I've fallen asleep a few times in my science class, but the teacher didn't get pissed, he asked me why I did and now jokes around aboot it.

nah, no way. I'll just tell you that others might think I should fire you and then fire me because I dont fire you so just try to stay awake or we're both gonna lose our jobs.

Well, if you fell asleep at my old job (trucker), I'd leave you at the side of the road!

Depends on what kind of job.

If you were in an unimportant position, I'd just wake you up.

If you were in an important position, I'd wake you up then talk to you.

Then go back to my office, and go to sleep.

I would give you one warning first but fire you if it happened again. Get to bed at a better hour.
