No.......atleast not while they are in practice. The job will demand more of their time than anything else. The kids will end up being raised by daycares and nannies and the husband and wife will rarely see each other. I know a couple who are both doctors and they do not even sleep in the same bedrrom anymore because the phone and the beepers are going off all night and they do not want to disturb each other. Financially things will be awesome, but why have all that money if you can't enjoy it together? Doctors practice to such an old age now a days that by the time you can retire and enjoy your spouse you are too old to do anything fun anymore. LOL! I just think that nice cars, nice houses, nice jewelry and clothes and all the finer things in life mean absolutely nothing if you are too tired and streesed to enjoy it. So.......my answer to your question, sad as it may be, is no! Just MY opinion, though! ;)

My husband and I live very busy lives outside the home and we have 3 kids. In the morning when I leave he is still alseep and I take the two oldest to school then I go to work He takes the youngest to the day care and when I get out of work i get them all and he is at work sometimes I am asleep before he gets home and I hate it but I won't change it for nothing in the world. I look at it like I rather miss him because our relationship is great rather than some people who thank god that there husbands are not home because they don't get along.

Live nice, Yes. If you try to make it work.... With kids... Well, kids will always break your B*ll's... :-) thats the beauty of them, somehow... and time will be hard to say... But if you are in love, and happy with each other then even little time that you spend with each other should be enough.. Knowing that you are married to a wonderful person who loves you and trusts you should be the best marriage even if you do see them 3 hours in a day!

There are lots of people in a variety of careers that have heavy schedules and many responsibilities. I assume you are asking because you are in the situation. Only the two people involved know for sure if they want to spend their energy solely on a career or can make time for a family and a partner. It is a matter of compromise and prioritizing.

Financially, yes. They'll probably live a nice life, but expect to have very busy days since jobs are so high in demand.

and why not? if you are worried about spending enough time to be together, just remember - time is always there, 24 hours/ 7 days a week. It neither lengthens nor shortens. It is up to you to manage it.
