How can you have 3 pair? I don't think that that is possible. Sorry bro, but your wife got you.

3 pair is not a hand you can have. You have to play your best 5 card hand out of the 7 cards, so you can't have 3 pair. If the board was 7-7-9-9-A and you had 6-6's in your hand then you would be playing the board in this spot, you would have 9's and 7's with an ace kicker here since you 6-6's don't play.

3 pairs not a hand. Can only use 5 best cards which leaves you with 2 pairs and a kicker. 3 of a kind beats 2 pairs.

You can't have 3 pair... that's six cards. It's the best five card hand that winds... Your wife would win that one.

Actually wait... It would depend on who has the highest card. If you dropped one card that would leave you with 3 of a kind as well... So it depends on who has the higher card.

Three of a kind wins. Three pairs isn't a hand.
