How does one go about reporting a fake/fraudulent escrow site?

Looking at vehicles for sale on craigslist I came across some scam ads which directed me to an escrow site that's obviously fraudulent. (www[dot]car-expert-sell[dot]com
Is there any way to report such sites/frauds to authorities?

How do you know this is an obvious scam?

I was looking at a vehicle on craigslist and the seller directed us to the same company.

car-expert-sell.com

I was not planning to use the service. In this case the car is only 3 hours away so instead of going through the escrow I planned on driving down and looking at the car.

But if it is a fraud I would not want to waste my time driving either.

1. report it through the FBI. (they have a website for reporting exactly what you are wishing to report)
2. your secretary of state
3. your local securities commission office
