My pony died three years ago and every time I think about it I feel so depressed. Will I feel depressed for the rest of my life?

It'll eventually get a little bit better, but you'll probably always feel sad when you think about him/her. I had a horse drown about two-years-ago and it still hurts to think about him. But ask yourself, if you could go back in time to when you got him/her and, knowing that they would die, would you still buy him/her? If the answer is yes, then there's enough good memories that overshadow the bad. Just try to remember the good times and eventually it'll hurt less.

ahhh... thats 2 bad im an absolute horse loverand im dying to have a horse but i feel so sorry for you â¥â¥â¥â¥â¥ honey.... youll be fine,,,one day youll be over your pony and possibly own a lot more ponys/horses ...u'll b alright = )

Don't think of it as depressed, but a moment of sadness in his/her memory... As any loved one or you will think of them from time to time and that is good. I like to think they know when someone is thinking of them & they'd rather you remember a happy thought instead of crying and being depressed or sad. Remember them in a positive way so they can enjoy the memory with you!!!!!

It was his/her time to go. they are in a better place now, so dont worry.
