For 200 movies full DVD quality about 500 albums and about 10 recorder TV shows per day? I dont like deleting things? My HTPC can hold 6 drives.

Well, let's break it down:
200 Movies, 9GB max = 1800GB or 1.8TB
500 albums, 650MB(.65GB) max = 325GB
10 shows daily at 1.6GB/hr = 16GB/day
So, if you want to use 500GB drives because they are now about $110 each, you need 500GB x 6 for 3TB. Maybe you would get by with 5 x 500GB. If you use 750GB drives which are much more expensive, then use 4 x 750GB for 3TB with two slots to spare.

1 TB may do it. Add more as needed.
