That way too often, might does make right, that the strong and vicious do win, and that the rich guys will lie, cheat, and steal (and get away with it) just to say they own it all....

and that this all happens because other people *let it*.

That's the worst part of it....that at the end of the day, there *are* no bystanders, no good people without a clue. That you're either an active part of the solution or part of the problem by passively *allowing it* to carry on.

And that most folks can't be bothered to be anything but accomplices. Even when it's in their best interests to *do better* than this....they don't.
