Yes, it's normal, most everyone probably does the same thing. The neuron picks up on that sensory signal and sends an axon or dendrite to the brain, then the brain sends it to the spine, I think. And no, that's no orgasm, just sensory signals.

Any sensory issue that presents as an isolated problem is in general a benign condition. Make sure your boyfriend gives value to that feeling you have.
