The < and > have the _ under them.

I'm having problems doing this chapter. These are not the orginal questions so it's important to include all steps so I can get the hang of it!

If there was an equal sign you would have the equation of the line that is the boundary. So first draw that line.

Then you need to shade the area on the correct side of the line. Looking at the first one, you see that if x and y get big the statement becomes false. So shade the area below and to the right.

so, i'm in calculus and i honestly could tell you all of the steps..
but i'm not sure you'd learn ANYTHING from it.

to be honest, how i got so far in math was by asking the teacher questions.
if you don't know how to do something, go up to the teacher b4/after school and ask.

if you just don't get how they explain it, go to a friend in the class who gets it or a different math teacher.

i rly think that this will help you out much more than trying to list steps over the computer

All I can tell you is...
< means lees thatn, no matter what.
> means greater than.
The line underneath means greater/less and EQUAL than

oh geez, i'm awful at math.
i use a graphing calculator, they help a lot.
do you have one of those?

it'll pratically work everything out for you.

combine the like terms

x and 2x= 3x
