sorry it was on the computer and it looked like a minus sign but it is really an = sign.
solve for x. √2x+7+4=x

You need the other side of the equation.
Is it sqrt(2x) + 7 +4-x =0? Is the sqrt on the 2 or the 2x?

(√2-1)x = -11
x = -11/(√2-1) = 26.56
