I think he has to be. Tebow is doing great but Florida has three losses, Dixon is done for the season, and McFadden has done nothing other than that 300 yard game against South Carolina. Matt Ryan MUST win this trophy, because he's clearly the best player in all of college football at this point.

we will could see if the Heisman voters remember the final 2:11 of the sport greater effective than they remember the 1st fifty seven:40 9 of the sport the place BC became not waiting to attain in any respect. whats up, i'm hoping the Championship pastime is Ohio State and Boston college, and that i'm hoping Matt Ryan wins the Heisman. That way the Heisman Curse works FOR Ohio State this 365 days (LOL) bypass greenbacks

It doesn't matter that Tebow has 3 losses or that he is a sophmore. He has been the best and most consistent player in college football this year and he pretty much took the trophy today when he put his name in the record books. 20+ TD's passing and rushing is just ridiculous. I think the closest person to Tebow will be Todd Reesing if he can lead Kansas to an undefeated season.

Tim Teebow will win Heisman! Matt Ryan is an ok player from a surprise team, but Teebow has had incredible games even in the ones he has lost. The FL defense needs to step up! This is coming from a TN fan lol!

No, Mattt Ryan Isn't the leader for the Heisman race I think it's Tim Tebow from Florida because every game he breaking the record books and if it wasn't for him the Gators might have more than the 3 losses and wouldn't be in bowl contention, and He's the first player in Div. 1-A History to throw for 20 TD's & Rush for 20 TD's that's reallly amazing.

Come on guys...tebow is good, but he is getting all the rushing TD's and nobody else on the team gets a chance. 13 of his rushing TD's are of 3 yards or less. The starting RB has 4 TD's all year !
sounds like Florida is padding his stats

that being said.. he should not be punished for being a sophomore.

Tebow has moved in as the front runner. He is the 1st QB in NCAA history to pass for 20 or more TD's & rush for 20 TD's. That will turn some heads, despite the 3 losses.

Well you could argue that he has had two really bad games this year. But his win agianst Clemson will make people forget about that.

So as of rightr now he has an decent shot at the heisman.

Damn this has been a crazy year for college football

I didn't think a sophmore could win it, that QB from WV looks pretty good. Todd Boeckman isn't even in the hunt this year. But if he sticks around (which I'm sure he will) he will probably be a nominy next year at least after winning the national title.

I have to go with Tebow. He has carried that team for much of the season. He has also thrown 26 TD's and rushed for 20 TD's. Ryan's numbers are not that impressive.
