I need to write a 3-5 page essay, in which I apply microeconomic concepts to your own life. But this is not supposed to be a traditional “research paper”. The purpose of this assignment is for me to use the economic way of thinking and apply economic concepts to your personal experience. Any suggestions??

How about following the economic consequences of someone as a college student (low supply, high demand) through first job (able to afford more but still lower), into middle management, etc. As you move up the economic ladder, your choices of consumer goods, housing, vacations etc. change because you have more purchasing power. You could then then discover something and make a fortune and then show how that would affect your life economically (use graphs for each of these w/imaginary salaries, expenses, etc.).
