I know that they have the cameras there and everything, but still, a young child being in a movie like that could have an effect, maybe...

It's not a personal question...It's just a topic that came up among friends while we were watching "The Ring" during a part with the little boy.

I am sure just being in a normal movie could have that affect. That is sooo much pressure for a child its unbelievable. But I think with all the cameras, people, props and just the atmosphere would make it not scary. But I am sure some things would make their minds wander when they got home after a 15 hour shift=) Wrong

I doubt it - the fact that they can see up close that it's all special effects probably makes it into sort of a game for them. There has got to be a big difference between seeing a machette draw blood from a human skull and seeing a machette draw food coloring from a rubber dummy.

Depends on the child's level of maturity and worldliness, for the lack of a better word.

If they are an experienced actor/actress, then I don't think there's much to fear.

You really give one not very much info. to go on. Is the child yours? Or that of someone you know?

I wouldn't be overly concerned.
