As long as your physicain recommends it. This is not a drug to fool around with - if you're having second thoughts about it, talk to your doctor or get a second opinion before you stop taking it. You don't get prescribed this medication for small reasons, so don't risk your life with advice from an online community.
Talk to your doctor !!!

DON'T stop until your doctor tells you to stop. He put you on it for a good reason. If your levels weren't where they needed to be, the drug will help to level you out.
Keep taking them.
