I am so sorry you experienced this kind of abuse and ignorance! That was really awful! I hope he does not plan on coming back to your workplace. These kind were never taught anything as children!

Yes Jenni some people are that stupid, and it sounds as if you found the president of the stupid fan club at work that is just awful!
I have dealt a lot with the public in my work and I have learned to shrug people off..
I think what I find even funnier about this guy is in this day in age where everyone has a cell phone what year does he live in?..
I'm sure it caught you off guard and if you had the chance to have a do over I can bet you have thought of tons of things to say to him.. think of it this way.. this guy is just that miserable with his life that he must lower other people to his level with insults to be able to look them in the eye.. I personally feel sorry for people like that.. they really have no clue how tactless they really are

People really are that rude and stupid. Please ignore them. We're not all like that.
I was sitting at the bar area of a local restaurant and a lady walked up for less than 30 seconds (no lie) and started screaming about how no one would help her.
I told the girl working about how it wasn't her fault and told her boss so they would know the lady was just crazy.
I sooo bad wanted to ask the lady if she's EVER had a job before, I'm guessing NO.

People like that obviously haven't been taught good manners. I blame it all on there parents. When both parents have to go out and work just to make ends meet they can't spend as much time with there children and teach them the difference between what's acceptable behavior and what's not acceptable behavior.
PS When people act like that I'd just ignore them.

Yes, he was rude, but your question seems to imply that adults are rude and no adults are not?? This guy was an idiot and a jerk, but I bet he was one when he was a kid, when he was a teen and will be one when he is a senior citizen. Some people are just that way and it has nothing to do with age!.

That goes way beyond the pale. That was the rudest person I ever heard of and if it happened to me I would fold up and cry.
Forget that loser because he was mean and evil in any state or country. I am so sorry that happened to you. He must be on drugs or just hell bound. Try to forget it.

What an asshole! Aren't you glad you didn't let him use the phone though? He may have 20-30 years under his belt, but that doesn't make him an adult.

Yep. I would have wanted to kick his *ss. You should have called your manager and had them hold the person and call law enforcement.
