Is spilling water in your keyboard bad???

Question

I know spilling it on the computer it but I just spilled a shitload of water on my keyboard and was looking at the answers here.... I know it doesn't have to do with this section so I'll delete it in a second so I need to know I don't want to get electrocuted or something haha thanks!

Okay obvz it is bad, dont try to do it. But it seems your key borad is working fine. Wipe it off with a washcloth and it should be fine.

Turn off the computer and turn your key board over and let the water run out of it. Let it dry over night. No it most likely isn't ruined and no you may not have to replace it. If they're design to be able to withstand soda being dumped into them, you water shouldn't kill it.

No, I spill almost every day at least 4 oz of water and mine works just fine.

probably not the best thing to do to your keyboard. But, really, keyboards aren't that expensive these days ...

Hi,

Yes. Its better to buy a new one around $10.00 . Instead
of drying all the keys,one by one and it might not work .
