Well I'm a girl but I like girls who make the first move. I also make the first move and have yet to be turned down.

Well...the cold, cynical part of me would wonder "Ok, who put her up to this?", and if I weren't too flabbergasted by the novel turn of events, I might actually find a clever way to ask this: "Huh? [smiles] You're talking to me? Sure....whose funny idea was this? [laugh]" You know, try to keep it light and casual...
*lol*, Sure, riiight. ^_^ Like I'm even remotely that cool-headed and slick. I'd probably be a total sucker for it until her buddies started to point and laugh.... -_-
But if it wasn't fake or a dare....I'd be terribly flattered and *relieved* really. I'm really shy out there in real life, and find it *too hard* to start the conversation myself....so if she started it, life would be a lot easier for us I guess. ^_^
Still, I would wonder just *what* some tiny, cute lady would see in someone like me. -_- Oh well, what can you do?

My girlfriend actually made the first move. never happened to me before. And I'm crazy in love with her. So I'd say if you want to ask a guy out, go for it.

Typically, the dude is the person that has 2 make the 1st move. But I have absolutely no problem if the girl asked me out, assuming I'm attracted 2 her already.

I'd love it personally. I hate always being the one who has to ask.
--Shannon dudes asking you out because you are gay does not count, it is only in male and female relationships where it counts. I mean by default a dude is always asking out another dude in a gay relationship and does not discuss about the annoying social norm to which the questioner speaks.

It depends on the girl and how she asked.
If she asked me with too much confidance like if she knows I would say yes It would be a turn off.
On the other hand, If she asked me nervously it would be a turn on.

Pardon me, but I would Never ask a man out in a million years. I don't care what the social habits of the times are. The first cave man chased the first cave woman and man is the hunter and he can pay the check. I am the one with the goodies.
