Thanks speed. but I don't Think Any Degree is Necessary, I Have Personally Seen "Experts" Make Serious Errors In the Area Which they Claim Expertise, "Bread and Butter" Errors.

Yes of course. And even when challenged by logic they sometimes refuse to change their opinion.false pride is a terrible virtue isn't it?

You are a highly educated MD. It will be annoying to you when people speak out arrogantly with statements that you know are unfounded or simply not accurate. Arrogance is annoying to many.
I've probably had much the same schooling as you have - though I retired from medical practice and went back to college in the history field. The most educated people are the ones who realize that we actually know very very little. (from Socrates)
Can you imagine how foolish our current medical practices and knowledge will look to future physicians by the end of this century?

there are always two sides to every story. you can find two educated theologians who have studied for years who have two totally different views. i agree a piece of paper does not constitute being an expert. sometimes life experience with an open mind gives someone more expertise than what one learns in a book. what i like is the former FBI agent who professes to be an expert because he worked for them, and he wrote a few books. having been in the military i can relate. just because someone had a job there does not make them an expert or even necessarily a good soldier.

I'm so old and cranky I'm tired of "experts" even with degrees to prove it, when I can see they've no insight, imagination, and limited knowledge of anything that occurred much before they went to school. They're the modern plague. Real experts know how little they know and are still learning.

No, I'm tired of people who believe in the experts.

Remember the Experts said the US would be out of Iraq in six months, that the war would pay for itself, and that the people would love us...remember, remember, remember......

They also said Saddam was making Nukes to send to the US....

The experts also disbanded the Iraqi police force so there could be insurgents to attack our soldiers...

If I see another person claiming to be an expert I'm tempted to shoot 'em in the nuts...:)

I am sick and tired of the so many such people.

If I could I would march all such people to 1940 Nazi Germany tell them that they are jews and hand them over.

The world would be a much much better place to live in without any such people.

Let's all join hands and do our best to get rid of any such people.
