Kiss From A Rose by Seal.

"There used to be a greying tower alone on the sea.
You became the light on the dark side of me. "

The greying tower to me refers to being alone, like a tower by the sea is usually alone by itself. Both of us were this way, she more than I. I actually think she might dedicate these lines more to me than I would dedicate it to her. She was alone, not quite bitter just yet, but had not experienced love.

"You remain my power, my pleasure, my pain, baby...
To me you're like a growing addiction that I can't deny.
Won't you tell me is that healthy, baby?"

I swear I'm obsessed with her. I'm "addicted" to her, and I can't deny that. She's my power, my pleasure, and most definitely my pain. It's really not healthy how much I am addicted to her...

There are several songs for different periods of my life with Gwenneth but as an overall title,
Roses Of Picardy.
She is watching by the poplars,
Colinette with the sea-blue eyes,
She is watching and longing and waiting,
Where the long white roadway lies.
And a song stirs in the silence,
As the wind in the boughs above,
She listens and starts and trembles,
'Tis the first little song of love:

Roses are shining in Picardy,
In the hush of the silver dew,
Roses are flow'ring in Picardy,
But there's never a rose like you!
And the roses will die with the summertime,
And our roads may be far apart,
But there's one rose that dies Not in Picardy!
'Tis the rose that I keep in my heart!

And the years fly on forever,
Till the shadows veil their skies,
But she loves to hold her little hands,
And Look in her sea-blue eyes.
And she sees the road by the poplars,
Where they met in the bygone years,
For the first little song of the roses
Is the last little song she hears:

Roses are shining in Picardy,
In the Hush of the silver dew,
Roses are flow'ring in Picardy,
But there's never a rose like you!
And the roses will die with the summertime,
And our roads may be far apart,
But there's one rose that dies Not in Picardy!
'Tis the rose that I keep In my heart!

For my late darling, beloved from
Rose P.

BIG SHOT - by Billy Joel
*thinks* but i don't have a BF so this is going to have to go out to a very good friend of mine instead. *sighs* still love them though, their my friend, but i just think they need a dose of common sense right now. ♥

*edit* can i dedicate "Peron's Latest Flame" < from Evita> to former jobs/coworkers, where it concerns myself and thier opinion of me? ♫
