Because the writers have ran out of ideas long time ago and big time!!
I can give them a small right and blame Vince for that cause back in the WWF days we had only one brand to make storylines for.
Now,it is a lot harder to make storylines for not two but 3 brands.The whole thing is confusing and they don't even try to find a good storyline for now.
Maybe if there is going to be Smackdown/ECW..will be better for all of us and the WWE

i missed the WWF days and early WWE(until 2004)....

Because there's no more competition anymore, since wcw was bought out, wrestling hasn't been the same, but i agree, i really miss the attitude era as well.
