The engine and suspension components should be available at your local parts stores. NAPA especially carries a good line for the older cars. If not, try looking up National Parts Depot on line. They carry restoration parts for a lot of old cars and trucks and will send you a free catalog. They have different catalogs for different models. Good Luck. I like to see the old cars come back.

If you are looking for speed and like tuners, get a 2004 Dodge Neon SRT-4. You get them cheap and the SRT-4 comes with a turbo 4 cylinder, def 210+ HP. 0-60 in under 6 secs. You will be able to keep up with an Evo or a Sti with the stock veh, the different turbo kits available add plenty of power if you are looking at it in the long run. Even the interior is upgraded from the standard Neon, check it out!

you can search salvage yards all over the US online. I have bought parts that way before. Some sites are better than others. I knew of one site a few years ago (I haven't looked around in a while) where I could search for a part and it would come up with the salvage yards that had it, the price, and the number to the salvage yards. It was great. Do a google search for online salvage yards.

there is no real good reason to use cheap parts, get high quality reproduction parts and do it right the 1st time, cheap parts will fail early and leave you on the side of the road.
