My current roomie is a Maine Coon kitty named Tony. He is 18 lbs, muscular, long haired and apricot and white in color. He has a beautiful doll like face that belies his mischevious nature. He hates to be picked up but is super affectionate and likes to sleep on my hip so I can reach out and massage him and pet him and scratch him under his neck.

He careens through my house at a 100mph yet never knocks anything over! MIRACULOUS feat!

BUT he STEALS! - yep he's a klepto and takes small things that belong to me and hides them in his secret places! LOL

He also has a stuffed lion with a long tail and squeaky thing in the tummy that he dearly loves and drags around the house [although he sometimes 'humps' the thing and that's GROSS!] LOL

When I come home from work each day, he has dragged his lion onto my bed...the only time he does that is when I'm not home...I think it gives him comfort to have his lion and the smell of me with him during the day when he's alone ;-)

I adopted him 4 yrs ago. He is now 7 yrs old.

Where do I start?
I have three dogs
! black lab 11 yrs old who has just quit acting like a puppy 2 doxies both 4 years old- 1 was a rescue came from a puppy mill and two other homes who were abusive. Has a few problems but is as sweet as can be. Love her to pieces.
Other 1 came from a breeder- she had lost a litter so got the boot- gladly took her and has been a sweetie as well.
! cat 14 years-odd ball afraid of almost everything but is a cutie
I just had my old cat die 2 weeks ago. She was so great, one of the best pets ever and I miss her so very much.
I also have 2 foster cats at the moment 1 was here for Halloween holidays(black) sometimes they will get adopted and then returned after the party. It's hard on them so I took him home for awhile. Gets him out of the cage for a while too and he can socialize. The other is alittle nutty and am worried she will not find a forever home. Has trouble with cages, won't let people touch her while in one (only time she'll bite and foam at the mouth) so I can't take her to an adoption sight to try. Other then that she is sooo sweet and pretty and Full of love.
For the most part they have been great friends and it is true they love you regardless. Never a bunch a trouble, lots of fun!!

We have a Cocker Spaniel called Sally. She is approximately 8 or 9 yrs although we were told she was between 3 and 5 yrs when we got her from The Dogs' Trust rescue centre 17 mths ago. She is black and tan and a funny little dog. She was extremely fat when we got her but she has slimmed down a bit now. She has a funny little tail, floppy ears that end up in her water bowl every time she has a drink and she is the laziest dog we've ever had! We have to practically drag her to get her to go for a walk, if she had the choice she'd go for walkies in the car! We love her to death and we feel like she's been our since she was a pup. Our daughter has 2 male, black gerbils, Midnight & Shadow who live in a tank in her bedroom. We aren't sure how old they are coz they weren't babies when she got them. Someone had already had them as pets and took them back to the pet shop. We got them a couple of days after her first 2 female gerbils had to be euthanised due to old age (they were both 3 yrs old) and tumours. We are on the look out for another rescue dog or a puppy....another Cocker, Westie or King Charles Cavalier.

Well I wonder if tropical fish count? I have a few fish.

Well lets see, I have 2 dogs.

Barney, he is a St.Bernard mix, medium size dog, very good dog, I have had him for almost 2 years now.
Bouncer, he is a Black Lab mix, medium size dog, oh my goodness he is a barker in first class, I have had him for about a year now. There is no shutting him up!

In total we have 9 cats (5 of those are babies).

I have Baby (female) and Buddy (male)(Buttercup is what we use to call him). I have had them both for about 6 years.

Then last year a mother cat had her kittens and they showed up here. That was 3 more cats, one of those has disappeared, so that leaves 2 of them.

Then some one was going to dump some cats out (mother and 5 babies) I couldn't stand that. So I have those babies in my trailer with me right now and the mother made her escape and got away. One of those babies is acting just like it's mother (hateful). None of the babies have names yet, but there are 4 black ones and one black and white one. One of the black ones is the one that has an attitude problem. The other 4 are a blast to watch. They keep me laughing all the time.

Well that is my pet story.

I have only two pets right now. Jessie, a beautiful retriever/chow mix who is 14, but looks and acts so much younger. So far in perfect health. If I had $5.00 for everyone who thinks she is beautiful and sweet, ( she is!) I could take a nice vacation somewhere!. She's my pal and we walk together each day.

I have a kitty( 5 years old) who is a big guy, his name is Reilly. I adopted him from a shelter a year and a half ago. He's quite mellow and an all around good cat unless he catches Jessie taking his food, then he gets a little huffy.. ( it's o.k. that he steals Jessie's though) He has some odd habits concerning water but I just figure that we all have our strange ways.

Our family has had Jessie since she was a puppy. My son adopted her from a shelter where she had been brought, along with several of her little puppy siblings.

I've always had dogs and cats in my life and I've cried buckets of tears as I lose each one of them. They have all added an additional dimension of colorful memories, along with love and companionship into my life.

In past years when my kids were younger we had goats who were always a barrel of laughs. I'm a big animal lover and they play an important part of my life..

I've always had a dog and sometimes a cat or two. Once two sugar gliders. For the last 15 years, I've raised Brussels Griffons(the little dog in the movie As Good As It Gets). They are great companion dogs. I can't imagine life without a dog. Currently have 2 10 week old puppies. They are great fun to watch terrorizing all over the house. Also living here is great, great grandma dog to these puppies. Usually I take a dog or two to work with me when I'm working. I'm a nurse administrator in dementia specialty care. The Alzheimer residents love them.

I have 3 dog's My oldest and mellowest dog is Chunky a 5 year old American Staffordshire Terrier, i got him for a humane society , they adopted him out and 7 months later he was being starved to death under a tree, some one broke his pelvis and never had it treated he would have been in agony for months when i got him he still had very little hair now he goes to the vet and he's like a rock star , everybody knows him, i got a female blue tick coon hound, she has sever allergies to pollen and grass. She was going to be euthanized , but i asked the owner if i could have her and he handed me the keys to a 75 lb running machine. I called her Emma Mae after my two grand mothers she is on allergy meds and doing well. the third is a half Blue healer, half coon dog. Born after Hurricane Katrina in the woods of Mississippi, they found so many puppies that if you did not get one in 5 days they were euthanized. A fellow rescuer brought me a puppy sight unseen. Her name is Woody, someone didn't check too good . I picked her up with my other dogs, I stuck her butt in the window and they immediately stopped barking. they are a diverse group that keeps me busy. other than barking at any squirrel, anywhere they are fair dog's I guess we all needed each other.

At the present I am pet less. I did have my Cocker Spaniel Missy for 17 years. The breeder made a mistake about her birthday and I got her when she was 4 and 1/2 weeks old. I ground up puppy chow and mixed it with warm milk for her. She was a beautiful little dog. Buff and gold colored. Very smart, there were about 30 words she recognized. Extremely well behaved and spoiled rotten. I lost her 3 years ago. She was old and sick and I had to do the right thing for her. It broke my heart.

I have 6 cats and a dog, they were all rescued and worth every minute of the trouble. Rusty our dog is a rust/brown chow mix with a fluffy tail that's white on the underside. He 6 yrs. old and loves to play. He is the best watch dog ever. He know which critters are supposed to be here and which ones aren't. He keeps telling those possums to go home. lol

The kitties are from 3 yrs to about 10 yrs. old. Ms. Marty is the oldest and she is a brown/black/grey tortie. Ditto and her baby girl Sargie (she's deaf) are striped dk colors. Sable is black, her daughter, Bandit is dk striped and son, Smokey Joe is gray w/stripes. He is the sweetest cat in the world though he's the biggest of the bunch.

They are my babies and I'm so proud of them. I brag on them every change I get. They are funny, warm, loving little rapscallions and you never know what they'll get into next. lol

14 year old species challenged poodle named Tiffany. Yup she has been both trouble and joy
3 year old Manx black cat named Chaos...the name alone should tell ya about him...but we love him anyhow
2-2yr old Manx cats named CJ(Chaos Jr) and Search. Cj Is black and has never been anything but love Search looks Siamese and is such a joy! His midnight howling are another thing entirely
1 yr old tortoise named PT He was bottle fed by me and is as needy as one of the kids. He refuses to be carried unless it is like a child and is quite the bully....we love him anyway
2-3 yr old fosters Quan Lee is a calico that has issues...she's pretty to look at and quite vocal...I'd love to find a home for her. Little Girl is also a cat with issues. She hides in my closet in the bath and refuses to come out into the rest of the house...she also needs a home so the two of them are trouble!
2 months ago someone dumped some kittens and their mom on my doorstep. We have been feeding them and since the mom got run over a few days ago we named the kittens Larry Curly,Moe, and Curly Joe they are actually good cats, but not really wanted. They are still semi-wild so I guess they would qualify as trouble
well I guess I have given you enough info on my pets..remember you promiced to be nice!! LOL....next
