this is a poll.....what tips could you use to survive.............?

yes....I'd live off fish and whatever seafood I can find. As long as I have flint or matches, some type of fishing gear, and a hunting knife, I think I'd do ok. Read "Hatchet" by Gary Paulsen. Anyone will know how to survive in the woods after reading it.

If I was stuck out in the wild, I would survive. How do I know this? Hey...I'm a parent of a teenager and believe me, if you can survive that anything else is possible(esp. teaching them how to drive)!! Seriously though, I would take note of my surroundings to make sure that I was in a fairly safe area(not on a slope or near a rising river for instance) and see what possibilities for shelter were in my immediate area. Next--any trees or plants with leaves to absorb moisture(water)from my smelly but absorbant socks and what natural food was around. After all that work, I would be tired and would find a place to lie down and go to sleep. Most people panic, so I would deal with it after I slept. It would be helpful to cover up with vegetation(leaves,pine needles, trees). After 1 day, someone would notice me missing & my K-9 buddies would come and find me. Good Enough. Guard Dog

water, heat, and electricity is a good idea :)
in fact, how about dragging an entire home there?
and no, i probably wouldn't be able to survive cause I'm into technology and stuff and I just DON'T cooperate with nature..
