I don't know the reason of it but my grades aren't in the honor roll, while in middle school they were. Any good suggestions/tips?

Well, the subjects are harder in high school but two things that may help;
First, it has been shown that studying to baroque music has a positive influence in the learning process.
Second, I take DMAE because it helps concentration and memory, is all natural with no side effects, costs about $6 or so at a health food store, and has been shown to be effective for over 20 years now. I have recommended it often and each person who has tried it told me how much it helped. If you do socialize more now in high school, you have to set a certain period of time for study and get used to that schedule so that when you start to study you can concentrate on that more than what you could be doing otherwise. Good luck to you!!

One possible reason is that high schools are more difficult than middle schools.

Here are a few suggestions to help you study better snd smarter.

1. Have all of your materials ready and in the place that you are going to study.

3. Study when its quiet. No music, no TV, No headphones, no nothing.

4. Do your most difficult subject fist or else you may never get to it.

5. Keep a calendar so that you know when a project is due or a test is going to be given.

6. Vocabulary is very important. Words have different meanings. You need to know the meaning for the subject that you are taking.

7. Study the relationship of things. How is the topic that you studied related to the unit that you are studying?

8. Your textbook has hints for you. Many books have important words or phrases in darkened or colored type, make sure that you know them thoroughly.

Work hard. Stay focused. Don't miss class unless absolutely necessary. Show respect to the teacher and if you don't understand something, ask about it, even if it means staying after class. That's what teachers are for! Don't do drugs or drink alcohol! Stay out of the party scene! Find Jesus (if you haven't already!)

Good Luck! God Bless!
