Saint's Row is a copy of GTA, but it has some improvements, but it's still not as good as GTA.

Saints Row is a close contender
Crackdown is a similar style of gameplay, not as fun as GTA
Grand theft auto 3/ vice city/ san andreas all run on xbox 360.
Grand Theft Auto 4 comes out really soon on 360.

I think you are referring to sandbox games. these are the type of games where the is an open map where you can go anywhere and do anything. I love those games too. well, you could try oblivion, except there are no cars, and it is like a middle earth style thing. hmmmm....... I guess you could try crazy taxi(it is just like simpsons hit n run/road rage), but that is for Xbox, not 360. well, you could always google 360 sandbox game or something....

Yeah open world games are nice. Well as you might know, GTA4 is gonna come out sometime in the next 2 years :P
But Saints Row is kinda like GTA, theres also Oblivion (middle ages type), and i guess you could kind of consider Assassin's Creed a sandbox game as well. Who knows, some unheard of game also might pop up soon.
