I have replace parts with a mechanics help that we think may be the problem to no avail, it starts but stalls but wil stay running if I keep pumping the pedel but roughly, I even took the air breather off and sprayed gas with a spray bottle in the intake and it runs great, the only thing I can think of that I have not changed would be the map sensor, or o2 sensor, it is pumping gas and seems to do ok, tomorrow I hope to check the pressure of the fuel pump if my mechanic friend brings the pressure checker, any ideas? Please help, Im disabled and so is my income, lol!
Thanks

NEVER replace any part till you know the problem. You have wasted time and $$$by replacing random parts. The O2 sensor or map sensor don't cause this type of problem. You sprayed fuel into the throttle body and it ran fine. This should tell you it is a fuel problem. On the throttle body are a throttle position sensor (tps) and an idle air control (iac) The iac regulates the air so the engine can idle correctly. The tps tells the computer how much air is entering so it can supply the correct amount of fuel. In the throttle body is a throttle plate that opens or closes when the throttle pedal is moved, it is attached to the tps. I would suggest you clean the throttle body and make sure the throttle plate is moving and not sticking. I would do the same for the iac and I would consider replacing the tps on a vehicle this old. Give it a try and don't replace parts on a guess. Another item you might want to check and maybe clean is the egr valve.

Change your IAC (idle air control). You may try taking it off & cleaning it with contact cleaner.
