It's complicated. Here's how I feel:
African americans, hispanics, whoever... they're not inferior to whites. They're no worse. They're no less intelligent. They have no less potential. The problem is, they DO have less resources to realize their potential, and so they end up worse off, and committing more crime. Statistically speaking, this makes it logical to fear someone who isn't white more than someone who is white, just because whites have the advantage of wealth, and whites live more comfortably, get a better education, and commit less crime-- all because of opportunity. So I don't believe any race has more potential than any other. I just think it's unfortunate that whites have the greater capability to realize their potential because this makes people think that other races are inferior, when it's just that they aren't given the same opportunities.

Sorry but this shouldn't even be a question. Racism is something our world needs to abolish. Provoking it is not going to help. If someone states that there's things they dislike about a whole entire race then they are going to be racist. It's not that everyone is slightly racist these days, it's just stereotypes. A lot of races seem to fall into these stereotypes but it's not completely true. You know what race is the majority of the poor/homless in this country? Whites. There is no pure race, there is no superior race. What people dislike about certain races are assuming everyone in that race acts that way and we all know that is not true.

I consider myself not like the "Old School Keep 'em Filthy Bastards Away From Our Women" type, but more in regards to impulses and random thoughts I do have tendencies. Robinson was overjoyed at first when he found footprints in the sand, but he then started thinking "Wait! Can this person be a dangerous to me?". Fear and hatred are closely related, and hate is just so darn comfortable, especially when it's directed against something else, such as the people you fear the most.

Wow. This is surely severe. People simply presume that your profile image is meant to to appear very similar to you. I recognize precisely the way you consider. My hindrance is vice versa, I use white profile images in most cases however I'm truthfully black. They're both utilising functional experience and aren't on account that this choice or are randomly guessing.

I don't think I'm racist. I just dislike ignorance and stupidity. Unfortunately, those are universal, affecting all races. Just look at the US executive branch, Congress, and the Supreme Court. They're representative of every race and gender, and they have plenty of ignorant/stupid people in their midst, starting at the top.

Nope! I have no type of racism! I love all people, no matter what the color of there skin is. In today's world, people need to make peace, and that's why I am going to be a civil rights lawyer. Not only that but I have plenty of different races and backgrounds in my family [white, black, Mexican, Italian etc.]

I do not feel I am racist my boyfriends half brother is bi-racial w/b and that doesn't bother me. But I do get tired of seeing a lot of races use their color like everyone owes them or that they should get away with more because of it. I don't make snap judgments about people because of their color or nationality I judge them by the way they hold their selves. I've met a lot of trashy white people, lots of black trash, lots of Mexican trash, but I've also met plenty of awesome friends that are all of the above and more. For us to forget the differences in our appearance we have to stop pointing them out so much.

ever one is racist. if they say they are not they lie. even if it is just a little. the rich dont like the poor even if they need them. the poor hate the rich even if they wont to be them. so if you talking about race, then ya all people are racist if your talking about dogs hateing cats. then they are still racist. it has been around sence the begining of time and will always be there. nothing we can do.

Yes. Everyone has prejudices against others.
Everyone crosses the street when a group of (insert ethnic group here) men are walking down the street.
I was raised by very tolerant parents, but still wouldn't want to go into Southeast DC at night. Risking my life to prove a point is pretty stupid, right?

It's probably the stereotypes depicted on television that sort of predetermines the reaction to encounters with people of different races. We also associate race with culture, and most of us have trouble adapting to different cultures. That's probably where that slightly racist behavior comes from.
