i need some help for my essay because i have no idea how to start it.. our teachers hasnt given us an exact question, just little things like: Who started it, What was Australias involment etc.. HELP!

It was started with the assassination of Archduke Ferdinand.
It was Australia's first real test as a nation and they volunteered in droves so the Anzac legend was formed along with the Legendary Light horsemen.
