I pre-order a fresh, free-range local turkey each year.
It is so much better than the supermarket turkeys.

I make roasted brussels sprouts which keeps the kids away.
I eat it in peace and I just don't care anymore, I'm tired of the freeloaders coming over for food and leaving when the last crumb is gone.

Oh-God Bless us this Thanksgiving, if we will all get to eat together in safety pass the juicy hot roasted turkey sliced to perfection,as I look in your eyes and show you my love I'll pass you the sweet potatoes casserole,as our children and their cousins laugh and wispier at all the fresh vegetables on one table for one meal mmmmmmmm! green-beans with little pearl onions, creamed spinach, broccoli in white Gouda (cheese)sauce, sweet sliced beets , corn in butter mmmmmmmmm, mashed potatoes to creamy perfection, and the most delicious stuffing (dressing ) you could make a meal out of this alone, cranberries oh we need them and then the home made gravey from the roster,on the side of my plate my homemade biscuits .......then after a few hours we will top it off with caramel toffee apple pie with ice cream on top...............oh we all need to take a walk.....nice.......memories of how it used to be ...............I don't know I may be alone.?
