how and around what age?
just wondering cuz the guys at my school think girls are talking
about that whenever we mention the word period. even if we're referring to our classes.

i'm in the 9th grade and the schools i went/go to haven't even showed us yet.

When girls talk about them in front of guys. They do this to me ALL the time.

Guys only learn about it if they live around women going through it. Many boys who do not have sisters never find out until they have a girlfriend, and even then they might not find out until the relationship is in its later stages when the guy knows the girl long enough.

About the same time they pull the girls aside in school and show them "the movie" and tell them about their periods....they have a separate "talk" with the boys too.

My health class educated people on periods&stuff in 8th.
More elaboration/details in 9th.

like age ten, and they aren't stupid, so they learn from their surroundings and/or in 7th grade in health calss (age 12)
