Driver's Permit Eye test?

are you allowed to take the eye test at your own ophthalmologist and not have it at the DMV?

Yeah, Texas requires you prove it in front of a license bureau employee also. However they don't charge extra so............

not in south dakota. they have to make sure that you can actually see.
