About as dumb as being a racist is HATING your own race. Elise, with your blonde hair and blue eyes, I guess you must have some sort of Caucasian blood... Who taught you that was bad? Guess what, sweetie, EVERY RACE HAS COMMITTED ATROCITY, some more recent than others, some get more press than others. There are MANY reasons to be proud of your heritage. I think self hate CAUSES prejudice against others. Wasn't Hitler part Jewish?

i can't really say for anyone.. but some people might resent their race because of the bullying they suffered as a result. Self hate DOES cause prejudice against others. There's an insecurity/inferiority issue that is present in all bullying/prejudice case (except for those ones where children are taught by parents to be prejudice). Self hate certainly is insecurity.
I do not know this elise person, but one thing to say: You should love who you are.
The world is an unique place. It would be BORING if everyone was the same race. Race is part of what you are, but don't let it be ALL you are. Go Caucasian pride! Go Asian pride! Go African American pride! Go Hispanic pride! Go any other race i've forgotten to think of in a few minutes!!!
As for the Hitler question. He is Jewish through his father's side. However, since the Jewish faith is carried through the mother, He is *technically* not really Jewish. Some speculate he hated Jews because the doctor attending (but unfortunately not able to help) his mother's deathbed was Jewish. Others say his application for attending an Art academy was rejected by Jewish people. When it comes to Hitler.. who knows...

It is called "Lack of self-esteem" and nothing else.
Elise is just a ignorant, mouthy, spoiled *ss kid who most likely hates her family due to the fact that they won't cave into her every spoiled, bratty *ss demands like she thinks they should. Therefore she hates the whole entire white race because of this fact. I have seen this before in others and this CHILD is no different.
Do yourself a favor and pay this stupid *ss no mind. She will eventually pull her head out of her *ss and realize that she can't have everything she wants handed to her on a silver platter but that she has to actually work for things that she wants in life.
Edit: I received an e-mail from Elise yesterday stating that "I don't have low self-esteem" but she does not deny the rest of the statements that I made. I guess what I stated was the truth and that she is a "Ignorant, mouthy, spoiled *ss kid with her head shoved up her *ss and she is mad at the world because her parents refuse to cave into her bratty demands."
If what I said was not true won't you rebuttal everything I said and not just part of the commit. I would anyway.

This is a profound and difficult question. Some answers apply to some but not all instances of this.
One possibility is regret at being the object of discrimination or hatred by others. Another is to pre-empt the hatred or scorn of others by joining the "others". For example, Custer's troopers at the Little Big Horn wound up shooting at each other when they realized they were doomed. The Stockholm Syndrome is well-known where the victims identify with their tormentors or Patty Hearst joining the kidnappers who were scornful of her wealth and social position.
Sometimes self-hatred comes from fear of others envying your position and wanting to avoid it. Often there is guilt from belonging to a privileged group and not believing that you deserve the privilege. It's interesting to note that class hatred of the economically well off often comes from those who have inherited their wealth or who have come by theirs so easily that they feel they haven't deserved it. For example, you find the Kennedys being ultra liberal although the past two generations haven't had to work a lick for their wealth and Hollywood types as well, considering that it is probably due to luck that the successful stars distinguished themselves from other actors who are less successful. It is rare to see this kind of liberal hatred of the economically well off from rich people who have earned their wealth not too easily and with no help from family, friends or contacts.
Self-haters are psychologically damaged and also history shows that they are dangerous to others, both in their own group ( which they "hate") or in stimulating hatred of their group or in hating others.

If you hate your own race that makes you racist if you ask me. I don't think that you should dislike anyone because of their skin. If you hate your own race, that means that you hate yourself. I think that people should embrace their ethnicity and be proud to be who they are. Regardless of what people say, each and every race has suffered some type of injustice and should grow from that. If you hate your own race how can you be happy with anyone else? It's just pure ignorance.

Racism is based on pure ignorance and fear. Unfortunately, there will always be narrow-minded, racist dummies. And if people can no longer hate based on race, they will find something else to hate about others - it is just replacing one reason with another.
Human beings really aren't so advanced after all ...

Sorry but i'm just lmao at what the 2nd poster said!
But people who hate their own race have issues, most likely identity issues. I just acn't understand how someone could hate their own race, which means they basically hate themselves. I understand that you can hate individual people within your own race but not your race as a whole.
