so I was at an A&F store in a mall, and one of the girls asked me if i would want to work there and i really do, but I dont know if I really have the look. She said shed call for me to interview. im 17 and that location is the only one that hires 17 year olds. do u think she would have asked if i didnt have the look? does anyone have any experience? if you were a junior girl in high school would you work at a & f? Ive had no work experience before and i think it would be a good experience

She probably wouldn't have asked you if you didn't dress in the A&F style because the workers there are scoped out as potential A&F models by the store owners.

Working in retail as a first job is extremely good experience--I regret not working retail first because other people were hired before me because they had retail experience (and we were the same age) and I was a newbie.

If she wants you to work there, then by all means apply! The worst that can come out of it is a bad experience, but it is an experience just the same and you will at least have a foot in the door. I know that when I applied for my first (and current) job when I turned 18, I had no experience, so they had to go based on my references alone-but I was able to get it and the rest is history.

Im 17 and I dont have any work experience either. Ive been looking for a job for about 5 months now and I haven't gotten one phone call it sucks . Now you said that you dont have any previous experience, to me, a person who has none either, getting the chance to work at a&f is freakin awesom. Dont let that pass you by. I havent worked at a&f but im pretty sure that if that girl thinks that you should work for them, totally go for it. I would love to work there.

I think that before you fill out any application for any store you work on your spelling, grammar, and punctuation skills. A potential employer will look at your grammar before s/he looks at you.
