No.. Simply because the reason for it being there was never explained... None can tell why they exist... You can give yourself a reason to exist but the REAL reason to live is a complete unknown... Humans can not accept the fact that pointless and useless things should be discarded because they still cling on to their idealistic views... Tell me, is life worth living? You may answer yes because there are many things that are worth experiencing and seeing in life... But for what reason do you say that? Everything has a reason, a purpose... If the reason or purpose of something is unexplained, undefined or absent, then there is no point for it to exist...

yeah, you might as well. what else are you going to do?

i mean, at this point in my life it is still worth living because i think i can do some ****.

...ultimately...human life might do something great. we might meet God or be of some kind of help in the universe or... find our own purpose.

you and me though are going to miss out on that. but if you think that is a possibility you can still pass on your genes so that some part of you will get to take place in that.

just an add on,

that evolution guy is just making numbers up
the universe is 10-15 billion years old and the earth is 4.6 billion years old. all those 6 numbers dont corrospond to the events he says they do

Is Death worth Dying? I have been to many Graveyards in my life. Never once did anyone Jump out of the Grave and say," Damn it was Great being Dead today. I can not wait till tomorrow so I can be Dead Some More!! If you find a need to ask this question, you need to Get a Life!! YOU have to DO THIS FOR YOURSELF. No one can or will do it for you. I used to pray that I would just go to sleep and Never Wake Up again.I always woke up again! So one day I sat down and made a list of the things that I wanted to do. Then, I got off of my Bottom AND DID IT!! Now, I Pray for just one more day to be alive and, so far, it has worked. Get off of the Cross- We need it for the B.B.Q.

Yes, life is worth living. Anything you learn will only help someone at some point. We are all interconnected. One life really does have influence on many others.

YES! life is worth living because of the simple fact that it exists. what would there be if life didn't exist? emptiness and unfulfillment. there wouldn't be any dreams, any hope or any laughter. if every one had at least one good memory to hold on to, that would be enough to live for.

It depends on the individual... if one is satisfied with the opportunities and hopes that life provides, then it is indeed worth living....... and even if one thinks it is not worth, one does nurture some hope for the future and that is why sane people do not commit suicide.

The world has come to an "end" according to the following progression. Life is worth living just to see what's going to happen next.

6,000,000,000 -- age of solar system
.. 600,000 000
.... 60,000,000
..... 6,000 000 -- date of missing link
........ 600,000
......... 60,000
........... 6,000 -- Modern man (Adam and Eve)

.............. 600
............... 60 -- 666
................. 6

................. 0 - end date in prophecy

All dates in the progression are based on occurrence as per significance. This is to say that man is not an ape.

The world as we know it:

"Flood" = flood of chores. "Scorched with great heat" = career burnout. Chariots shall rage in the streets = rush hour. Hippies = people of the prince. Hippie philosophy = beat the system. A prince is as one who does no work.

The world that is coming:

Q. I have a busy, successful life, hobbies, family, etc. Why do I feel like something is missing?
A. Inertial mass = "rock"; gravitational mass = "stone". In general relativity, the two are indistinguishable. "Rock" = motion; "stone" = rest. Pushing on a rock controls where it goes. "Stone" = not conduct oriented. [Gospel of Thomas - 50 Jesus said, If they ask you, What is the evidence of your Father in you? say to them, It is motion and rest." - pbs.org/]

Science knows nothing about human nature except in terms of conditioning. The Bible speaks of conditioning in terms of the "beast 666". Matt. 24:22 -"except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved". Progression = a brief history of time.

Evolution as a bush = burning bush = family tree. Family = humanity. Evolution as a tree = tree of life. Difference = occurrence as per significance. The goal of philosophy is to make a determination. Burning = determination = fired up. Goodbye world = hello life.

Well, it beats the alternative.

Life can be a pain in the ***, but there is also a lot of stuff to enjoy out there, you have to be philosophical about it.
