Hi I just tried to log on to facebook and when I got to the page it said:
Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage
Most likely causes:
You are not connected to the Internet.
The website is encountering problems.
There might be a typing error in the address.
this happening for you as well?

facebook is known to have issues with its servers, and its open-source apps complicate matters even more, so its not uncommon for facebook to have problems like this. I have this all the time, but i usually use email as a bypass, facebook does not rule my life :)

If you are sure you are working online, then I think the problem is with Internet Explorer. Try Tools, Internet Options and Clear Temporary files, and may be history and cookies.
Or if this doesnt help remove your Ethernet cable from your computer for about 10 secs and plug it back in.
Or Use Mozilla Firefox which should help.
It should work now.

Mine's working fine. Although I know that sometimes I have experienced problems when my friends did not. Just give it a few minutes or even an hour and then see what happens.
