it's true, why do old people stick to their old stuff and never listen to new, old metal was more like today's rock anyways, it was retarded high pitched scream, where todays metal is loud singing.( im talking heavy metal here)...and old metal's guitar was nt even loud, there barely was any bass, it was high pitched "D" cord

im not dissing 90's metals,, only 80's and earlier

90's was the time where the change occured, there was a bigger difference between "rock" and "metal" music, they werent the "same thing" anymore

Give it 20 years. You'll be saying that the rock in 2027 sucks.

i admire some 60's; The doors, The Beatles,...70's rock; The Eagles, Styx, Led Zeppelin... & 80's steel like the bands you reported alongside with the heavier stuff like Slayer, Pantera, Sepultura, and so on. (i admire the older stuff from Metallica, Motley Crue, Ozzy, & many others-their new stuff does not attracted me) i do no longer pay interest to the recent song or todays bands that plenty-yet I do love Slayer's new stuff)

you take the good and take the bad...take them both and there you have the facts of life... the facts of life.
Some of the music was better from the 80s. but I have to agree with the singing.
