If Carr retired, it shows he just taking the easy way out but I
feel may get fired if he doesn't retired.

It may be a retirement like Dr. Tom Davis at Iowa several years back - a "forced retirement" - but Coach Carr won't be like Davis and be back coaching again. But Carr will be a lifer at U of M, which will help keep his career in perspective in the coming years and not just have an emphasis on the rut of his last couple of seasons.

6 in one hand half dozen the other!

Does it matter? He needs to go either way for the same reasons John Cooper had to go at OSU about 7 years ago!

You can't be dominated by your rival for a 7 year stretch and be humiliated on your homefield twice to start a season! This is a way to let Carr save some face and not actually get fired, but everyone knows better!

Michigan is having a press conference on Monday. we all know what press conferences do. coaches or players always announce something. He's most definitely announcing his retirement. He's gonna retire before Michigan can tell him he's fired. There are even rumors that he may not even coach Michigan's bowl game.

Lloyd said he would retire at the end of the season .....before the season even started this year.
God Speed to him. He did much for Michigan over his thirteen years.
