You want to be looking out Earth's front windshield as it drives through the Leonids Sunday morning. The front side of the earth is facing east after midnight. From about 1am to 5 am should be the best time to watch the eastern sky. The usual rate is about 10 metors per hour but occasionally it will jump much higher.
